A total of 36 films from 15 countries have competed at the 12th annual Global Nonviolent Film Festival. The Jury has resolved to award 28 of those films in the following categories: Feature Film, Short Film, Feature Documentary, Short Documentary, Feature Docudrama, Feature Animation, Short Animation, Feature Experimental, Short Experimental, and Music Video.

The Festival’s Jury is composed of: Brad Mays (USA), Olga Matsyna (Italy), Roger Paradiso (USA), Dr. Teresa Mular (USA), Yuriy Konopkin (Russia)

The Global Nonviolent Film Festival, founded by film director Bruno Pischiutta, Member of the European Film Academy, and producer Daria Trifu in 2011, is the most important and renown nonviolent film festival in the world. The international film festival is owned and organized annually by Global Film Studio, a Canadian media company that is focused on ventures that are socially conscious and nonviolent.
